Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

We actively seek ways to minimise carbon emissions across our projects. From investing in fuel-efficient and low-emission plant and machinery to optimising site logistics, we work to reduce unnecessary travel, idle time, and fuel consumption. We are also exploring the use of alternative fuels and renewable energy sources wherever possible.

Responsible Resource & Waste Management

We apply the waste hierarchy—reduce, reuse, recycle—to every project. Excavated materials are reused on site wherever feasible, and surplus materials are responsibly recycled through approved facilities. We also work with suppliers who share our environmental values, sourcing materials with lower embodied carbon.

Protecting Water, Land & Biodiversity

Our teams are trained to prevent pollution, protect waterways, and safeguard sensitive habitats. We implement site-specific environmental controls, such as silt fences and spill containment measures, and collaborate with ecologists to ensure biodiversity is preserved during our works.

Meeting and Exceeding Standards

We comply fully with all UK and Irish environmental legislation, including the Environment Act 2021 and EU Green Deal commitments, and we continually review our systems to stay ahead of emerging requirements. We also carry out regular internal audits and environmental performance reviews to ensure ongoing improvement.
